Ideally, our kitchen designers should be involved with your architect at the planning stage. Your plumber or electrician is likely to ask for the kitchen installation plans at the latest. To avoid time pressure, we recommend that you involve us as early as possible in your building project.

To get an idea of the kitchen area and begin the kitchen design process, we need a floor plan of the property. Photographs would also be appreciated, especially if it is an existing property. Exact measurements will be taken during the survey, please see “WHAT IS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE KITCHEN” for more details.

The initial consultation is completely free of charge. During this meeting, your preferences and ideas will be discussed and a budget outlined. Our expert kitchen consultants will then produce initial sketches and options for your dream kitchen, along with a quote.

If you like our initial proposal, our consultant will work with you to design your new kitchen. Over the course of several meetings, either in our showroom or at your home, the details will be discussed and the plan refined until the result is exactly what you want. Measurements are then taken and the kitchen is made to measure by our fabricator, carpenter, stonemason or metalworker. The installation of the kitchen is carried out by our own installation team of trained professionals.

We are often asked about the cost of this kitchen, that worktop, that island, etc. A werkhaus kitchen is always custom-made and has many intricate details, so it is not possible to give a fixed price. We prefer to use natural materials, which are inherently diverse and defy easy comparison due to the various handicraft techniques used.

Measuring is one of the most important steps in turning a kitchen design into a dream kitchen. This involves accurately measuring the structural conditions of the new kitchen on site. This ensures that built-in cupboards, appliances and worktops fit perfectly. It also allows for a smooth installation after delivery.
