Bronze Kitchen
This newly built, spacious house with a very special kitchen is located on a sunny hillside just outside Zurich.
All fronts in the light-flooded living and dining area shimmer in a bronze colour, which were manufactured by a carpenter and finished with a special metal lacquer. The architecture of the kitchen was already taken into account in the early planning phase, so that the rear wall with electrical appliances and work niche with additional sink could be integrated flush into the outer wall.
Opposite, the bronze kitchen island features Bavarian shell limestone that flows seamlessly into the walnut bar, which is supported by a metal base.
The natural crust of the five-metre-long stone worktop breaks the straight lines of the rest of the kitchen.
Bronze Kitchen technology and materials
Bavarian shell limestone, walnut and bronze-coloured fronts create a harmonious interplay of colours. They form a warm contrast to the plain exposed screed and the rather cool-looking large window areas and concrete elements.
A BORA X BO Oven and a V-Zug dishwasher are located in the kitchen splashback. Cooking, frying and grilling is done on the island with two BORA Professional 3.0 induction hobs and a BORA Tepan grill. At the back of the island, the Liebherr wine cabinet keeps the host’s fine wines safe and at the perfect temperature.
Easily accessible and positioned on the kitchen island, the Quooker Fusion Round with Cube provides boiling, chilled, sparkling and still water at 100°C at all times.

The dining table made of American walnut with a natural tree edge was also crafted by carpenters. It offers comfortable seating for at least ten people.
