A Striking Mix of Material

The 18 cm thick, massive and sharp-edged worktop made of lacustrine limestone is probably the highlight of this contrasting, but harmonious material composition. Based on a block of stainless steel, it attracts attention with smart details like the milled-out sinks and the conical edges. A spacious niche made of warm timbered wood does not only have a calming visual effect, but serves as an additional workplace moreover. It is framed by white matt lacquered wall cabinets. Perfectly fitted to the ceiling height, they cover the entire rear walls and have a shadow gap of 10 cm only. Furthermore they are contrasting gently with the base cabinets of the niche, made of hand forged black steel.

All in all, this kitchen seems to be the perfect surrounding for pleasant chats with the cook, while relaxing on the custom-made upholstered bench next to the kitchen island.
